i only asked you to run `emerge sdl-sound` because the example emerge command you originally provided was a little screwed up: 2. emerge -Dv sdl-sound sdl-ttf sdl-mixer sdl-image libsdl esdl freeciv re-emerge libsdl ... a directfb upgrade broke it
How was the original screwed up? No matter, re-emerging libsdl.
2. emerge -Dv sdl-sound sdl-ttf sdl-mixer sdl-image libsdl esdl freeciv telling emerge to emerge libsdl before sdl-sound and the rest makes no sense, that's all
