Looking at the stage1-x86-20040128.tar.bz2 make.conf there are like 4 lines in it (versus the pages and pages worth of useful documentation in the previous version). Why was this changed? I felt that was a good location for the information, to help newbies when they try to adjust that file. I realize there is probably documentation elsewhere on these settings. But finding that documentation would be harder than just having it there to begin with. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. There was a similar bug in the db, but they marked it as resolved - fixed. I couldn't reactivate it so I created this new bug (the other bug is #38222).
