The latest version of BlueJ available from http://www.bluej.org is 1.3.5, but the latest version in Portage is 1.3.0. The ebuild for bluej-1.3.5 can simply be copied over from dev-java/bluej-1.3.0 .

NB: when I tested this, ftp.bluej.org was down and I had to change the first line of SRC_URI to "http://www.bluej.org/download/files/${MY_P}.jar". This is probably a temporary fault though.
