In the kmail2 ebuilds, mailfilteragent/ should be add to the directories to be built. Else neither filters nor the filter log dialog work. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Build kmail2
2. Try applying a filter or opening the filter log (in the extras menu)
Actual Results:  
Neither will work

Expected Results:  
Works as expected

After adding
        mailfilteragent/
to KMEXTRA in the ebuild, the filter stuff was built and therefore filters worked again.

Which kde versions are you exactly talking about?
