Description Brian Downey 2004-01-23 13:33:44 UTC
Howdy!

Please find the attached ebuild and patch to fix a non-standard Makefile in the source tarball.

Hammerhead is a small easy-to-use load testing tool for websites. I placed it in net-www/ but I suppose it could be just as nicely categorized elsewhere.

The patch file name should be "hammerhead-2.1.3-Makefile-gentoo.diff"

Sorry about that!

Okay, I'm reluctant to add this to Gentoo, because hammerhead looks like an abandoned project. Do you know if there is anyone actively maintaining this any more?

Thanks,
Stu

Yea, it does look abandonded. I still use it, and figured I would write an ebuild since I'm a Gentoo-head. But if you have reservations about it not being worked on anymore and not wanting to put it in Portage because of that I wouldn't be crushed :)

I think we'll pass on this one for now. But, if there's demand for it in the future, I'll happily reconsider.

Best regards,
Stu
