Description larry schuler 2004-01-23 04:48:13 UTC
xmule 1.7.1 merges fine (although there are a lot of int to pointer cast warnings)

It even starts up correctly, but it is never able to connect to a server for p2p action. It can get a list of servers, just never sync with a server.

It is *not* my network settings. I have a Redhat 9 box right next to it, on the same network, which is able to connect & share just fine

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge xmule1.7.1
2. xmule
3. Press update button, the Connect button. It will never connect

Actual Results:
It continues to attempt to servers, but neer connects

Expected Results:
connect to a server

xmule is no longer developed, amule has replaced it. Can you try if it works with amule?

amule works, just takes it's time connecting. closing this one...
