Description Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-10-08 14:57:40 UTC
NOTE: the two needs to go stable at the same time or they won't work.

app-crypt/ccid-1.4.2 target KEYWORDS="amd64 arm hppa ppc ppc64 x86"
Plus anybody who want to try ccid on another arch is invited to do so.

m68k, sh and sparc probably wants to try this with dev-libs/openct instead, since they didn't keyword the ccid driver.

Ok, pcscd fails to start if app-crypt/ccid is not installed, imho it should be added to RDEPEND, because merging =sys-apps/pcsc-lite-1.7.2-r2 does not pull in ccid.

amd64box ~ # emerge -pv =pcsc-lite-1.7.2-r2;eix -I ccid

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

No it fails to start if you haven't got a driver, ccid is NOT the only driver, thus it WON'T be added to rdeps.

Ok, sorry for misunderstanding; compile test and starting daemon is ok for me on amd64.
