perl -d -MDateTime -e ''

after upgrading to perl-5.14.1-r1 and rebuilding everything using perl-cleaner --really-all and emerge @preserved-rebuild DateTime perl module does not work.

It dies in compile phase with:

rahl ~ $ perl -MDateTime -e ''

Greg, when you fill out the bug reports no need to cc your arch, it sends out a ton of emails to x86@. That email is mainly for stable bug requests. The bug wranglers will cc anyone needed. I assigned the bug to perl@. Thanks for the report.

Uhm... sorry...
Comment 6 Kent Fredric (IRC: kent\n) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-12-23 13:26:37 UTC
This bug is considered obsolete due to the stated version of DateTime no longer being in tree, and the stated version of perl it faults under is masked and will likey never be unmasked.

Apologies this bug could not be resolved sooner, but its no longer possible to delve into the probable problem you experienced.

If you can still replicate this bug with an in-tree version of DateTime, please re-open this bug with updated context.
