Mplayer 1.0_pre3 will freeze intermittently when seeking through a file. Not every time but usually occurs if you try and skips multiple times to the end of a movie. Usually a divx but has occured with different media. System hangs solid, no repsonse from mouse or keyboard and hard power off is only way to resolve. System is Gentoo 1.4, mobile Athlon XP 2400Mhz, 512MB RAM. Mplayer compiled with USE="dvd". Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load a DivX 2. Seek using PgUp and Right to end of film. 3. System usually freezes before end of film. Actual Results: System locks solid, no repsonse from keyboard or mouse. Hard power off on machine required. Expected Results: Seeked to correct position and continued seeking/playing.
