Created attachment 283063 [details] The new ebuild The current media-libs/evas-9999 creates libraries which often lead to a dysfunctional enlightenment. The main reason is the use of 'static' in the ebuild. A couple of people, including myself, have come across dysfunctional enlightenment environment because of this. It varies from missing functionality (missing fonts, missing composite support, etc) to a non-starting e. I propose that the use of 'static' be removed as a default option and I am providing a patch and a new ebuild here which does that.
