build fails witch error:

The role_set_expand function is defined by libsepol. The version identified in the ebuild (for instance, for checkpolicy-2.0.23) must match (in that case libsepol-2.0.42).

Can you verify (or give the output) of "emerge -pv checkpolicy libsepol" ?

well, the new userspace utils should be in the main tree (~arch'ed) for a while (looks like beginning of august).
