also /etc/conf.d/rc has been deprecated 

./gentoo-x86-quickinstall-system.xml:<path>/etc/conf.d/rc</path>, <path>/etc/conf.d/keymaps</path> and edit any of
./gentoo-x86-quickinstall-system.xml:livecd conf.d # <i>nano -w /etc/conf.d/rc</i>
