magicdev 1.1.5 is out and even better: It is now hosted on gnome.org and removes the need for rpm2targz. Also the now used patches are not needed anymore, which also makes the ebuild a lot lighter.

i expected the dev who was eager to add this to have jumped on it already, hope it happens soon now.
