http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/jdk7-relnotes-429209.html new release, plz bump thanks Reproducible: Always
We need the DLJ version to appear on http://jdk-distros.java.net/ so the package can stay without fetch restriction.
sun-jdk? maybe * oracle-jdk * openjdk ?
yes oracle-jdk or openjdk because openjdk is an other . right?
Any updates on this issue ?
http://robilad.livejournal.com/90792.html http://jdk-distros.java.net/ The DLJ project is no more. It looks like we should just switch to OpenJDK, though having the Oracle JDK binaries also would be nice.

Yes, we will keep ebuilds for Oracle JDK binaries, but they will have to be fetch restricted again due to the license. Switch to openjdk is already possible by emerging icedtea6-bin (for gentoo-built binary) or icedtea for source. We're waiting for icedtea7 for the java 7 implementation though.
I added an initial ebuild to -experimental overlay. Please test. I intentionally commented out QA_TEXTRELS_x86. Can someone with x86 profile paste the warnings so we can recreate the list. Once we shape up this one, I'll move on with jre and doc ebuilds.

Today Oracle announced that there won't be a DLJ anymore. That means, that we may only distribute OpenJDK builds...

I've moved the jdk to main tree. Leaving open for the JRE.
there is only a binary version ?
JRE added as well. Source version will be added as icedtea.
