I've adjusted libmp4v2 dependencies for 2.1.7-r2 a bit so it can be stabilized now. Let's go with that instead.
Before marking it stable, can you test if changing tags and saving the tag actually works? At least it doesn't work for me (mv'd ~/.easytag, too).
