Description steven 2004-01-08 08:19:10 UTC
When upgrading my system tetex is marked as to has be upgraded. If I have version 1.0.7-r13 installed portage says it has to be upgraded by version 2.0.2-r1. After doing that it says tetex version 2.0.2-r1 has to be replaced by version 1.0.7-r13 and so on and so on ...
If you need some extra information about my system, don't hesitate asking me.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -uD tetex
2.emerge -uD tetex
3.

Actual Results:
the tetex version is the original one

Expected Results:
tetex 2.0.2-r1 installed

Did you install dvipdfm? If so, see bug #36019
Comment 2 steven 2004-01-08 09:47:02 UTC
Thanks, that did the trick. Strange this dependency isn't caught when upgrading from the first version to the other.
