This may be a duplicate of bug 367559.

Try updating to crossdev-20110705. Also, why is your gcc ebuild coming from the sunrise overlay?

I don't know. I guess that's the first repo crossdev finds on my system.

the overlay output is where crossdev is going to create dirs, not where it's going to source from.  the sourcing info comes later on.
