cfengine3 syntax is available at: http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=2904 our current version was maintained by ramereth and is dated 2005.
Is the new syntax file an improvement over the old one? It sure contains a lot less lines.
This is the the current file: http://www.vim.org/scripts/download_script.php?src_id=17089 As you pointed out, it is shorter, but I think the syntax highlighting is much better and streamlined. I just tested the above mentions files and comapred the colors the file form the ebuild. Also: please consider adding "/*var/cfengine/masterfiles*/*" to /usr/share/vim/vimfiles/ftdetect/cfengine.vim as the masterfiles place is where all the editing happens. inputs/ is more or less read-only from the cfengine client POV. The asterisk after masterfiles like I wrote above is intentional as it is a common case to have a mastefiles.staging area for example where you will create new cfengine files (promises) etc ... Thanks!
Ping? Should I take this bug and bump that thing? I took maintainership for cfengine...
