Update to qc-usb webcam module. moving the 0.5.1 ebuild to 0.6.0 produces sandbox errors accessing /usr/src/linux (but doesnt it need to access the kernel source to compile correctly???)
Steps to Reproduce:
sorry, just noticed that this is in the install file:
echo "[!] You have 2.6.x version kernel but not write permissions"
echo "to the source code. For 2.6.x the driver installation"
echo "requires write access to the kernel sources."
What is the policy on this?
also, moving the 0.5.1 ebuild to 0.6.0 compiles fine with FEATURES="-sandbox", but the ebuild needs updating as 'License' has been remaned to 'COPYING' (dodoc line)
i'll have to talk to the kernel devs about this. currently, there is no way to build modules with sandbox.

An ebuild for qc-usb 0.6.0
features needs to contain -sandbox
fixed in the latest 0.6.0 thanks for kernel-mod.eclass
