after updating of xcb-util-0.38 there is this problem. try to emerge with USE="-startup-notification", and it would be a temporary workaround yet
Thanks a lot tman for the prompt answer. I merged claws-mail as you suggested and it is running fine again.
Please test with 3.7.9-r1 and USE=startup-notification.

I done an emerge world, and now, claws-mail is starting but the only thing I get is its icon on the desktop. If I click on the icon, the claws-mail window appear bur remain desperately empty. All the sub-window are empty. No console message, no nothing. Just htop that show me than claws-mail is between 90 and 98 % cpu. I will wait until tomorrow.
