The rc_sys variable is *below* the big header that basically says ""do not enable here, enable in /etc/conf.d/foo"" But if a user does not uncomment rc_sys="" line, he/she gets a warning. The setting must be placed *above* the warning markers. Reproducible: Always
it is in the wrong place, but there isnt any warning anymore. you forgot to post `emerge --info`, so no idea what version you're running.

Since the choice of values this variable can have is different for Linux and the BSD's, I moved it under the system specific section of rc.conf. This change will be available in openrc-0.8.3.
