Tried playing Spiderman 2 zipped trailer. Codec conflict. It appears someone has thoughtfully patched mplayer - would anyone mind adding it to the ebuild? 1.0 pre1,2 and 0.92 versions available. Yep, this is very much needed. There are patches available, so it shouldn't be too hard.
A ready-to-go ebuild would even be nicer.
Works in 1.0_pre4-r4. Looks like upstream already took the patching incentive. I quickly found this out when the patches were failing because.. what do you know, the code was already there :).
