the gtk2-patch is from the rh-package 2.3-14, I've commented out two additional lines (which are setting DISPLAY, XAUTHORITY and HOME) to get it work on my systems.
Comment 3 Alexander Holler 2003-12-17 04:30:17 UTC
Please reenable those 2 lines I've commented out. They are needed because bluepin is started by root and I've tested it as the logged-in user.

So the rh-patch from 2.3-14 is totally enough.

thanks for the patch. i've added it to bluez-utils with the set_display() function uncommented. it works well so i've made bluepin the default pin_helper and also a note in the ebuild about it.
