Description Markus Luisser 2003-12-12 02:38:32 UTC
this applies to both mozilla-firebird-bin and mozilla-firebird:

after installing the optimoz mouse gestures as root, the mozilla and MozillaFirebird executables start but do not display any windows. i checked by starting both scripts from the commandline as well as from within kde and there was no error in any case. although no window opens the processes are visible in the process list (ps aux | grep -i moz)

Reproducible: Always

Comment 1 Rik Blankestijn 2004-03-02 11:11:46 UTC
I emerged mozilla firefox but nothing happens when I run "firefox", no errors just nothing. I can run as being root user though. I've removed ~/.phoenix (changed permissions before that) nothing helped.

I emerged the binary version and this one does work.

closing this bug since mozilla-firebird no longer exists in portage. Rik, the problem you reported in comment 1 is duplicated in bug 42444.
