Description Garron Moore 2002-06-09 19:26:29 UTC
When using Gnome 2, I cant move my gkrellm window. It is just stuck wherever it
opens. It worked fine in gnome 1.4 and works fine in fluxbox.

This sounds like a metacity bug/problem.
What metacity version are you using ?

try moving it with Alt+click-drag (works for me in .610 )

Do you by any chance have the GNOME plugin installed an active?
the one that takes it out of the gnome tasklist and such.
i believe there is a bug for gnome2 with that, which i want to look at over the
next few days.

Another possible cause for this behavior is running gkrellm with the -w switch.
Running it withdrawn is desirable within fluxbox, but causes you not be able to
move the window within Gnome2.

This seems to work now
