Comment 1 Theo Chatzimichos (RETIRED) archtester gentoo-dev Security 2011-02-01 06:15:20 UTC
a workaround is to run the following command:
kwriteconfig --file kres-migratorrc --group Migration --key Enabled --type bool false
Use at your own risk.
Since I am not in KDE SC 4.6 yet, can you (or anyone else) send a mail to kdepim-users mailing list?
Also, does anyone know if the problem happens with other distros as well?
Comment 2 Theo Chatzimichos (RETIRED) archtester gentoo-dev Security 2011-02-01 06:25:02 UTC
i added a reference in the kde guide about this bug
Comment 3 Andreas K. Hüttel archtester gentoo-dev 2011-02-26 18:54:41 UTC
Did the workaround help?
Comment 4 Andreas K. Hüttel archtester gentoo-dev 2011-04-08 19:24:07 UTC
No reply for over a month; info added to guide.
Comment 5 Mike Nerone 2012-01-09 17:31:20 UTC
Do we mark bugs as resolved because there's a sledgehammer workaround now?
