Version 0.4.2 is out which may be suitable for inclusion in portage again; maybe the results from http://gpo.zugaina.org/net-misc/xrdp can be of help Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely manner. There are simply too many new packages. Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =) Thanks, On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team, Markos. I'm handling this.
Observations so far for 0.8.0: 1. configure is borked and treats --enable and --disable the same way :), 2. neutrinordp doesn't build against current gentoo freerdp, 3. xrddvr doesn't build against current ffmpeg (surprise!), 4. pam.d file is weird and doesn't work (I'm replacing it with sshd's), 5. X11rdp needs to be built against some random xorg-server sources, so I don't build that at the moment (only X11vnc mode is supported), 6. startwm.sh doesn't work and I have no good replacement :). I suppose sourcing xinitrc is the only sane thing we can do here but CC-ing x11 for advice. @x11, do we have any semi-sane way of starting user's preferred window manager?
