Ah, I see. I saw the summary of that bug but had not read the details. It would surprise me if that bug did not also exist in 2.49a, but I guess it is our duty to confirm it. I will look into it asap.
Yeah, as I expected, the security bug you refer to affects 2.49a too, so it is no blocker to stabilizing 2.49b.
Could we add arch testers and proceed with stabilization please?
