After working around bug #349236 for dbus-python related failure by manually installing dbus-python, it fails on the next thing, apparently on my poor mips the test runs 151 milliseconds too slow to pass, or something... This was a manual "make check" run inside gio/tests/ folder though, as I can't wait for an hour of re-doing everything else again, though shouldn't matter, just out of luck it may get done on time some other tries: PASS: gdbus-introspection TEST: gdbus-threading... cleaning up bus with pid 27074 (pid=27078) /gdbus/delivery-in-thread: OK /gdbus/method-calls-in-thread: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA** ERROR:gdbus-threading.c:445:test_method_calls_on_proxy: assertion failed (elapsed_msec < 6000): (6151 < 6000) cleaning up bus with pid 27099 FAIL GTester: last random seed: R02Sb29504952fd7f667d3b4329772b9815f /bin/sh: line 1: 24652 Terminated MALLOC_CHECK_=2 MALLOC_PERTURB_=$((${RANDOM:-256} % 256)) ../../glib/gtester --verbose memory-input-stream memory-output-stream readwrite g-file g-file-info converter-stream data-input-stream data-output-stream g-icon buffered-input-stream buffered-output-stream sleepy-stream filter-streams volumemonitor simple-async-result srvtarget contexts gsettings gschema-compile async-close-output-stream gdbus-addresses network-address gdbus-message socket gdbus-connection gdbus-connection-slow gdbus-names gdbus-proxy gdbus-proxy-well-known-name gdbus-introspection gdbus-threading gdbus-export gdbus-error gdbus-peer gdbus-exit-on-close gdbus-non-socket gdbus-bz627724 appinfo contenttype file live-g-file desktop-app-info unix-fd unix-streams gdbus-serialization make[1]: *** [test-nonrecursive] Error 143 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/dev-libs/glib-2.26.1/work/glib-2.26.1/gio/tests' make: *** [check-am] Error 2
From my point of view, I would report this one to upstream also
Since you are able to reproduce, can you report this to upstream please? I have searched and looks like no bug report was opened for this issue. Thanks
