Description Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2010-12-14 16:20:17 UTC
I open this because I am hitting this problem and upstream bug looks like a bit stalled since some time:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=631315

Then, maybe we could consider keeping bug-buddy-2.30 as stable version for this cycle (because of this and bug 348351 also)

What do you think?

Reproducible: Always

We could also try to revert this upstream commit, but haven't tested it:

+ 16 Dec 2010; Pacho Ramos <pacho@gentoo.org> +bug-buddy-2.32.0-r1.ebuild:
+ Revision bump to revert upstream commit that was causing gnome-session to be
+ always running in debug mode (bug #348722), and to prevent old gnomebreakpad
+ from trying to be loaded (bug #348351).

build fails due to the patch not being found.

Ive manually checked several mirrors and dont see the referenced patch anywhere. I even looked on distfiles.gentoo.org. Cant find it there either.

Any ideas?

The new ebuild was included with my recent sync but not the patch

P.S. I left status as RESOlVED because im sure it will be fixed with my next sync. if the issue still remains at my next sync (24hrs from now) ill reopen.
