qt-3.2.2-r1.ebuild has this dependency on kdelibs, which is incorrect:

DEPEND="...
        !<kde-base/kdelibs-3.1.4

!< is not a proper portage operation and it produces this output (note the <
sign before the kde-base/kdelibs):
