there's a small problem: [blocks B ] media-sound/phonon ("media-sound/phonon" is blocking x11-libs/qt-phonon-4.6.3) [blocks B ] x11-libs/qt-phonon:4 ("x11-libs/qt-phonon:4" is blocking media-sound/phonon-4.4.2) Now I have not qt-phonon and phonon installed
This is normal behavior. Those two packages cannot coexist

If you don't mind I will use a tinderbox run for Qt 4.6.3 to test a newer GCC version on x86, this will take some time.

OK, I'd like to solve this once and for all. I don't think HPPA is ever going to have webkit supported, whichever flavour, so it's probably best to drop it now. USE=webkit is already masked, so that changes the stabilisation list for us, I guess. Anyone feel like compiling a list of keywords to drop, if any? Does that leave enough of x11-libs/qt* to continue supporting this? [1] suggests it's only qt-assistant and qt-demo... [1] http://tinderbox.dev.gentoo.org/misc/dindex/x11-libs/qt-webkit
(In reply to comment #8) I think you can drop assistant. The latest qt-demo doesn't even have hppa. If you take that route you'll also fix bug 338289 automatically and I won't have to remove the hppa keywords from 4.7. I was planning to do that today but I'll wait until tomorrow.
Stable for HPPA.
qt-multimedia-4.6.3 is not stable for arm, ia64 and sparc, Raúl could you have a look? Thanks :)
Arches, qt-gui was updated to fix bug #336801 and a new package, x11-themes/qgtkstyle, was introduced. Please test them and mark them stable. =x11-libs/qt-gui-4.6.3-r1 =x11-themes/qgtkstyle-4.6.3 These two packages combined contain the same functionally provided by =x11-libs/qt-gui-4.6.3[gtk] - nothing extra - so this should be quick and painless. Thanks :)
amd64 ok
(In reply to comment #7) > alpha/arm/ia64/sparc stable Everything except qt-sql-4.6.3 and qt-webkit-4.6.3 are stable on alpha, that is.
amd64 done. Thanks Agostino
Hey, x11-themes/qgtkstyle-4.6.3 was broken. this was a pain in the ars, but I finally fixed it :) please test and mark stable =x11-themes/qgtkstyle-4.6.3-r1 instead. if possible, please ensure that GTK shows up in the style list in qtconfig (provided by qt-qt3support). Thank you!
OK. this whole qgtkstyle thing has been backfiring at me from the beginning. Qgtkstyle shouldn't have gone stable in the first place. In order to avoid extra load to arches I am going to mask qt-gui-4.6.3-r1 and qgtkstyle-4.6.3* and we'll revisit this in the future, after we discuss it in our team meeting. For the remaining arches, please treat =x11-libs/qt-gui-4.6.3 as your stable target and ignore x11-themes/qgtkstyle completely.
arm/ia64/sparc stable
