Description Nikoli 2010-10-13 02:36:59 UTC
' g++' is in build log instead of ' x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-g++' after these changes were made to dev and live ebuilds:
http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/www-client/chromium/chromium-9999.ebuild?r1=1.86&r2=1.87
 src_compile() {
-	emake -r V=1 chrome chrome_sandbox BUILDTYPE=Release \
-		CC="$(tc-getCC)" \
-		CXX="$(tc-getCXX)" \
-		AR="$(tc-getAR)" \
-		RANLIB="$(tc-getRANLIB)" \
-		|| die
+	emake chrome chrome_sandbox BUILDTYPE=Release V=1 || die
 }

Comment 1 Paweł Hajdan, Jr. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-10-13 07:17:28 UTC
Could you check whether "tc-export CC CXX AR RANLIB" before emake would also work?
Comment 2 Nikoli 2010-10-13 08:27:48 UTC
For CXX seems yes - now 'x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-g++' is in log. Not sure about 'CC AR RANLIB'
Comment 3 Paweł Hajdan, Jr. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-10-15 07:45:26 UTC
Thank you for reporting and testing.
