lftp 4.0.9 tarball has been moved to the "old" directory on the developers servers. emerge -fv lftp would not download the tar. I had to manually grab it.

Our mirrors still have the tarball, so what is the problem?

OK, I changed SRC_URI. Thanks for reporting.
