Comment 8 Chiitoo gentoo-dev 2010-10-19 12:27:43 UTC
I'm not sure about where to post this, perhaps I should open a new bug altogether but I think I'll try this way!

There is a problem with off-line messages, not sure if it would be in 2.0.3 now as well but I for one first noticed it after updating to 2.0.4.
In short, when you have off-line messages, KMess crashes when it is going to retrieve them.

I sent the backtrace to KMess devs and they confirmed it is not a problem only to me and the fix is on its way, or probably in the SVN already.

The annoying thing is that the version 2.0.3 ebuild which might be unaffected by this seems to be unavailable now...

Anyways, I hope this helps!
Thanks for reading!
Kind Regards~
Comment 9 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-10-19 12:32:50 UTC
Yeah I just noticed today. When 2.0.5 is available we will do a fast stabilization
