Irssi's bot (/usr/bin/botti) has not worked for ages and is not supported. The
botti binary is just a waste of disk space. ./configure uses --without-bot as a
default and I think this should be changed in this ebuild.

Reproducible: Always

Oh yes, this should be changed in net-irc/irssi as well as net-irc/irssi-cvs.

I also think that the minor changes in bug number 33230 should be applied to the irssi-cvs ebuild.

I would also like to propose Irssi to be built using --with-glib2. Some modules require Irssi to be built with GLib-2 and as far as i know it will not break anything. I myself have been using Irssi with GLib-2 for ages now without any breakage. Adding --with-glib2 would also need a dependency on >=dev-libs/glib-2.0.

Changes now in cvs.

Irssi-0.8.9.ebuild has been left without these improvements.

I've fixed these problems in irssi-0.8.9.ebuild. Thanks for the bug.
