Description charles17 2010-08-27 12:08:41 UTC
media-sound/solfege requires a device /dev/music.
Could this please be created by the ebuild?

It's probably easier if you just use an external midi player like the error message suggests. For example, media-sound/timidity++ works fine for me here using its alsa or libao support

I'm closing this bug since you should be able to setup an external midi player to work with solfege. If you need help doing so, consult the solfege documentation and/or ask for help on IRC or some other channel of communication.
