I have waited for linux support for more than 2 years and then they release it as a deb package ;-) Anyway, here is the first attempt of an ebuild: <http://code.google.com/p/cj-overlay/source/browse/www-plugins/google-talkplugin/google-talkplugin-1.4.1.0.1.ebuild> Things to fix: -License - I didn't find it -Depends - Are there some missing? Comments please!
Here is mine ebuild, works on amd64, didn't test it on x86. What I can see your ebuild also installs libCg and libCgGl but we have nvidia-cg-toolkit in portage.

I've used the ebuild but still Gmail says "Please download the voice plugin to make a call". I'm using firefox 32bit and the plugin is not installed in it.. when I browse to "about:plugins" no plugin for Google Voice is installed.
I've even set symlinks to the plugins folder but seems like firefox does not detect google-talkplugin plugin (symlinks to GoogleTalkPlugin libnpgoogletalk64.so libnpgtpo3dautoplugin.so)
please report problems to bug #333579! 64bit plugins will not work in 32bit firefox that is clear. I have no amd64 machine, so how do you install a 32bit firefox on amd64? Will the problem be solve after adding multilib support in the same fashion as for flash plugin?
(In reply to comment #6) > 64bit plugins will not work in 32bit firefox that is clear. ... unless you use nspluginviewer: nspluginviewer -a -i /usr/lib32/nsbrowser/plugins/... (There is some eclass which can do it automatically, see www-plugins/adobe-flash)

Well, nspluginwrapper allows 32bit plugins in 64bit browsers, but not the other way around. Or am I wrong? > (There is some eclass which can do it automatically, see > www-plugins/adobe-flash) No, there is no eclass. As I said am working on multilib support, but it is not finished yet.

cj-overlay is now in layman's overlay list, that makes the ebuild easier to use.
