glade has a gnome dependence in ebuild, but it's also able to build glade
for gtk widgets only. I don't remember the configure option, but there is one
for --disable-gnome or something else.

if you do file bugreports at least provide sufficient information (version
number/proof/your setup/etc.) and possibly fixes/patches
