Description Maciej Mrozowski gentoo-dev 2010-07-29 13:51:41 UTC
streamanalyzer in 0.7.2 appears to randomly crash often (unfortunately we were able to spot it only recently when KDE SC 4.5 rc arrived which uses strigi more extensively).

This bug invalidates stablereq of strigi-0.7.2 from bug 322791 (KDE 4.4.4 stabilization request)

@reavertm: You forgot to give hppa notice that you dropped keywords to ~hppa. I don't see why but it's precisely why KDE keywording was removed in the first place. Thank you for continuing those bad practices.

Dropped HPPA keywording.
Comment 5 Maciej Mrozowski gentoo-dev 2010-09-28 00:21:28 UTC
No, keywords were dropped from KDE and deps because it's unrealistic for some understaffed and 'minor' archs to keep up, hppa included.

That's exactly the same reason why actions mentionded in https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=322791#c28 were taken and dropping hppa to ~hppa is just cleanup - not to leave affected, old and thus unsupported (by KDE team, you may be interested in supporting them, we aren't but it's we who are being assigned those bugs) versions in tree marked as 'stable' which is an absurd.
For instance only because of arm and hppa we still keep some ancient phonon *prerelease* - phonon-4.3.50_pre20090520 (4.4.2 is stable everywhere else).
