Comment 2 Marc-Antoine Perennou 2010-06-14 11:46:33 UTC
Adding this phase to the ebuild solved that :

src_prepare() {
    sed -e 's:GTK_WIDGET_REALIZED:gtk_widget_get_realized:g' \
        -e 's:GTK_WIDGET_STATE:gtk_widget_get_state:g'       \
        -e 's:GTK_WIDGET_VISIBLE:gtk_widget_get_visible:g'   \
        -e 's:GTK_WIDGET_DRAWABLE:gtk_widget_is_drawable:g'  \
        -i gtk/gtkdatabox_ruler.c gtk/gtkdatabox.c
}
Comment 3 Rafał Mużyło 2010-06-14 11:52:01 UTC
The correct solution is obviously tracking '-DG_DISABLE_DEPRECATED -DGDK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED -DGDK_PIXBUF_DISABLE_DEPRECATED -DGTK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED'
back to its source and removing it there (this is triggered by gtk+-2.20).
Comment 4 Rafał Mużyło 2010-06-14 11:55:56 UTC
...which seems to be gtk/Makefile.am.

patch against ebuild directory

I modify the ebuild to remove the lines mentioned above and digest it in my local overlay. Now gtkdatabox can compile successfully:)

Please close this bug, solution in comment #5 is working

Same thing here, without patch, same bug. With patch, everything ok.
Comment 8 Frédéric Barthelery 2010-09-05 18:35:47 UTC
The patch works fine
Comment 9 Elias Gabriel Amaral da Silva 2010-09-22 15:25:39 UTC
The patch worked for me, and it is necessary for installation of Klavaro. Both Klavaro and gtkdatabox is currently ~x86, but using this patch, I can build and run Klavaro.

I request this patch it to be applied in a new version of gtkdatabox at portage, maybe 0.9.1.1-r1, to make for the possibility of stabilizing both packages.
Comment 10 Nils Andresen 2010-10-09 17:46:41 UTC
The supplied patch works fine.
I could install after having applied the patch from bug #99318#16, too.
Apart from this, all works well here witch amd64
