Created attachment 242465 [details] ebuild file with patch included Hi, as i am fiddling around with a fitpc2 with gma500 i found a patch regarding this issue here: https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/90678/ - it is regarded to kernel 2.6.34. the attachment is the new ebuild - the patch comes in another attachment ...
Created attachment 242467 [details, diff] patch used in psb-kmod-4.41.1_p10-r2.ebuild put into the files directory of the ebuilds dir ... however i found out that this all just works with xorg-xserver 1.6 which can no more be installed as mesa's version in portage are too high ... so abviously i have to wait until psb works in xorg-server 1.7 ... but thats another story ;) regards, marcus.
there is a working module in http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=338330 loads and starts Xorg 1.7 with 2.6.34, BUT XV seems broken. Heavily.
Please close this bug. We only need one bug dedicated to psb_kmod.
