Description Ryan May 2010-05-28 04:03:27 UTC
Installing the latest desktopcouch, 0.6.4 (and the only available in the tree right now) completely broke gwibber for me. This caused a variety of problems. The most direct that I can describe at this point is that when I reset *everything*, I was unable to add any accounts to gwibber, gettings a KeyError on "_id" within gwibber.microblog.util.keyring (sorry, I don't have the exact backtrace handy at this point).

It turns out that on Ubuntu Lucid, they patched desktopcouch-0.6.4 for Gwibber:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/+source/desktopcouch/0.6.4-0ubuntu1

I've attached the relevant patch, which *instantly* fixed all of the problems I had been having.

Reproducible: Always

Hello Ryan,

please provide the gwibber version was broken hereby.
I've bumped gwibber to 2.29.1 (bug 304341) and used it for some days w/o problem. There are newer versions in tree by now, plus a bump request for 2.30 (bug 321067).

thanks, Michael
