CVS ebuild for the qc-usb quickcam module, which now works under 2.6. The module itself is very beta, but it compiles and works under 2.6 (but it crashes if you unplug the camera) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

Oh yeah, it needs FEATURES="-sandbox" to compile, otherwise it generated sandbox violations through the compilation accessing the kernel source
can you attach the ebuild in plain text?
Created attachment 20049 [details] qc-usb-cvs ebuild sorry about that
seems like this will only work for 2.6 .. it needs some work if it will violate sandbox though
qc-usb and qce-ga only work with 2.4, not with 2.6... Well I dont know how to stop it sandboxing, since it needs to access the kernel source to compile properly... At least the ebuild itself works if you specify FEATURES="-sandbox", the module is beta/alpha but it gets the webcam image to /dev/v4l which is better than it not working at all
i'm making this a dup of 0.6.0's release because we don't really want the cvs ebuild in the tree, and 0.6.0 should work on 2.6 kernels once it goes into the tree ... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 37229 ***
