There used to be two qmail packages. Now only netqmail exists and it does NOT provide this virtual. What is this useful for now?

How did you arrive at the conclusion that there is only one qmail package?

   RDEPEND="|| (
        ~mail-mta/netqmail-1.05
        ~mail-mta/netqmail-1.06

        ~mail-mta/mini-qmail-1.06
        ~mail-mta/qmail-ldap-${PV}
   )"

netqmail, mini-qmail, and qmail-ldap all exist as packages in the portage tree.
