Opening any gnome app (gvim, gaim, etc), results in the following error via console: /usr/share/themes/Gorilla/gtk-2.0/iconrc:175: error: invalid string constant "gorilla-default", expected valid string constant Line #175 is the last line & contains the following statement: class "GtkWidget" style "gorilla-default" (commenting out this line kills this error, but doesn't resolve this bug.)
here's a thread on this bug: http://www.mail-archive.com/cooker@linux-mandrake.com/msg107570.html
which version of gnome-themes-extra are you talking about?
bah. forgot top post. * x11-themes/gnome-themes-extras Latest version available: 0.3 Latest version installed: 0.4 /usr/portage/x11-themes/gnome-themes-extras/gnome-themes-extras-0.4.ebuild
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=116180 i've added the fix that is suggested to 0.4, you can re-merge it if you want, but basically i'm not going to bump the revision because it is a cosmetic improvement. having that error just means it doesn't load the double-click*.svg icons, so it isn't very important people upgrade to it.
solved. this bug can be marked closed. i did have an optionaly error concerning a metacity theme, but i haven't completely reproduced it on all of my boxes yet.
