Description Felix Blanke 2010-04-18 16:03:55 UTC
After the update from xorg-server-1.6.5-r1 to 1.7.6 i've got a strange problem:

When I move the mouse from the right screen ("ScreenR" in the xorg.conf attached) to the left screen ("ScreenL" in the xorg.conf attached) the mouse jumps around like crazy (jumps are not that great, about 100px) and I can't control the mouse anymore. In addition mouse button clicks are not reconized anymore.
Nothing has changed expect the xorg-server version and the versions of the dependencies. That also happens with the xorg-server-1.8.0.

Now the weird part:

If I change (in the attached xorg.conf) the screen-layout part from "Screen 1 "ScreenL" LeftOf "ScreenR"" to "Screen 1 "ScreenL" RightOf "ScreenR"" in the "ServerLayout" section everything works like normal.

Reproducible: Always

Comment 2 Felix Blanke 2010-04-18 16:22:04 UTC
The screen-layout is a little bit bad to read:

"Screen 1 "ScreenL" LeftOf "ScreenR"" -> bug appears

"Screen 1 "ScreenL" RightOf "ScreenR"" -> everything fine

done. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27813

by the way: if anybody has similar problems: i got my touchpad working again by simply re-emerging x11-drivers/xf86-input-synaptics .
