Hi, I was looking for a way to sync my pim data on my phone and pc. I use kde 4.4 which lacks on syncingabilities. Looking for another way to keep Kaddressbook and co. synced I found this client. It is still on heavy development but stable. on http://blog.ruphy.org/posts/75?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ruphy+%28Riccardo+%28ruphy%29+Iaconelli%27s+blog%29 is a description what is necessary to install akunambol. Because it just fits into the sync deed, and I'm not the only one who would like to work as with any other sync prog, I would like to request this prog as ebuild... I havent tried it yet and I fear I have no time. Also I'm not sure where to post this request, so please excuse me. Thank you for your hard work! you are all great ;)
I just created a first version of the live version from git and put it into the gentoo kde overlay. it's available from there.
Doesn't compile anymor because of missing dependency. From the akunambol website: There is a new dependency on liblikeback – we’re now using a shared version, instead of including our one (to fix the longstanding horrible situation of kmess, amarok, basket, and others). Until Harald releases it, you can get your copy here: http://gitorious.org/~apachelogger/kmess/apacheloggers-likeback
Fixed now: http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=proj/kde.git;a=commit;h=564a179c9cca3dec9ac0b65223533276a121a643
since the live ebuilds are in overlay, I consider this bug fixed.
