new version of Jung is Jung 2.0.1 Latest in portage tree is jung-1.7.6 I need this package, and this should be updated. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.run: emerge --search jung 2.notice: Latest version available: 1.7.6 3.compare with upstream: Latest version is 2.0.1 in sourceforge I think this should be easy. As I read more about JUNG it seems that this should be a new slot, as JUNG differs from JUNG2 and these are not compatible.
Any comment from the Java team? It's been well over a year since 2.0.1 was released and almost a year since this bug report was opened.
The Jung project seems to have halted, no releases since 2.0.1 in 2010. People still seem to use it though, judging by the trickle of discussion on their SF page. Might still be worth putting effort into?
