I tried to emerge version 2.26.1-r1 , 2.26.1, 2.28.1
I get always the same error. buildlog attched.

Are you still able to reproduce this? I am totally unable to reproduce, and seems that you are alone with this problem. Maybe you are mixing some testing package with your stable system causing this strange failure :-/

I could reproduce this always!

Sorry but now,  I switched to a new  64Bit Gentoo.

If I'm no longer so busy I'll boot my old Gentoo , to give you more informations.

Nevertheless thx for your effort.
